  1. Mathias Ohlund. He's paid his dues

  2. Whomever their management chooses

  3. I think Ed Janovanski. Mainly because he's been with the Canucks for so long. I would pick Trevor Linden, but hes retired. A Captain isnt necessarily the best player on the team, its the player that shows leadership, and more often than not, its the player that stays with the team the longest.

  4. Hmmmm this a dream, but cause its time for a new contract I am hoping for good ol Burnaby Joe Sakic. Now that make us lagitamit cup contenders, and there is also Brendan Shannahan,  Stephane Yell, Yanic Perreault, Stu Barnes, Bryan Smolinski, and of course Mats Sundin. Aside from that perhaps Jim Dowd would make a good centre as well lets not forget ryan Kesler, Willie Mitchell, or the top prospect Matias Ohlund

  5. On the website I listed below there is a poll that asks users to vote for the most likely captain of the Vancouver Canucks.  It appears as if many people want Ed Jovanovski to take the honor, but despite this poll don't be surprised if one of the Sedin twins becomes captain or even if Mats Sundin signs with Vancouver.

  6. ROFL HAHHAHA...

ok to JL and aragornzxl, you OBVIOUSLY DO NOT  watch the canucks that closely. Jovo was traded like 2 years ago to Phoenix. You guys are idiots. Thanks for teh laugh though.

The next captain will be Willie Mitchell...he's got the leadership, the personality that is a must have in the media frenzy that follows the Canucks, he's tough and a great role model.
