  1. Fedor is a great fighter, but in about 3 years there will be at least 2 heavyweights who will be better than him -- Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar.  Why?  Because they are solidly built (both got more muscle than Fedor) and both would have to cut weight to make the 265lbs limit.  Plus both were championship wrestlers in college and are picking up the game extremely fast.   Fedor is 230lbs, and since he doesn't fight in the UFC probably wont have to deal with those two for a while.  Sure, Fedor, Couture, Sylvia, Arlovski etc are all great fighters, but with the exception of Sylvia, they are all very small heavyweights.  Sylvia wins because he is big, but he is not very skilled.   Carwin and Lesnar will be both big and skilled, a scary combination.

  2. Me.

  3. if liddell went up in weight, i think he would have a shot, he has big power and he can get up from being taken down almost every time but fedor is a cyborg so...i would go with fedor

  4. That's a hard call because he's never even been in real trouble in a fight.  The most logical choice, Noguiera keeps trying and never even comes close.  It is very plausible that Fedor stays the most sought after fighter for at least the next three to four years.

I think Alistair Overeem has a style that would match up well against Fedor's, but I'm pretty sure odds would still be in Emelianenko's favor.

I borrowed these ratings from MMA weekly.   Other than Alistair, It would probably be one of these 10 guys if anyone has a shot.

  5. Who was the first ?  as far as the score goes he has never tapped or been ko 28-1 and that was by a cut plus he only lost because it was a tournament so they needed someone to advance an fedor was *technically * injured so they gave it to the other guy in most people eyes he is the current best or of all time

  6. the guy that can beat fedor josh barnett randy has a shot but the key to beating fedor is to cut him watch his fight and pride with tk that how you beat him he can be ko also happy to answer

  7. there will not be anybody in the near future that will beat him. Randy is too old and won't be able to handle Fedor's strength and quickness. Sylvia is a much slower and less talented fighter and Randy had to win a decision to beat him. As for Arlovski, he wouldn't stand a chance. Have not been impressed with him in the fights I have watched. There have been flashes, but nothing too impressive. Fedor would destroy him. As for the rest of the HW top ten, he has either defeated most of them or would pummel them.

I do agree to a certain extent with the comment earlier about Lesnar and Corwin possibly being able to beat him in a few years.

Otherwise, Fedor looks unbeatable for now.

  8. jackie chan

  9. Alistair Overeem? Alistair Overeem?  The guy that gasses out walking to the ring?  He has great striking but the fact that he can't last over a minute without wearing out means he leaves that ring on his back against Fedor.  Maybe the new Arlovski has a chance but I just don't think anyone has all the tools to beat Fedor.

  10. No one has ever beaten Fedor and no one ever will.

    E

  11. Randy Couture!

  12. Fedor himself!!!

  13. Randy "the natural" Couture. His gameplans are so amazing, i'm sure he'll overwhelm fedor with a series of a strikes and TD's

  14. No one has ever beat Fedor. His only lost came from an illegal elbow strike that cut him. Kohsaka should have been disqualified, or at best, the fight should have been a no contest. Fedor latter avenged the lost.
