Who will deliver 2 metre fishing rod in the uk?

it is in 2 pieces and royal mail will not take anything over 1.5 metres

Surely if something is 2 metres long and splits into two pieces each piece would be around 1 metre in length each, where is the problem sending that with royal mail as you've already said they take things under one and half metres, its simple maths, now go get a tube and post the rod.

Surely, as with most rods, it comes apart into 2 or 3 pieces? Then just use Royal Mail and a strong cardboard tube.

If it's a one piece ask your local carpet shop for some old carpet roll tubing and cut it to the size you need and again, Royal mail will take it. Pack out with bubble wrap too.
