Now I dont want biased opinions if your a fan of one or the other, but im interested in your opinions about which team you think is better nowadays and who you think will accel more in this upcoming season. The reason I ask is because i'm and Eagles fan and my Brother is a Jets fan.

  1. Although, I'm an eagles fan and you may think I'm biased, I think the eagles will do better, that is if McNabb stays healthy. I beieve that if Mcnabb is Healthy, the eagles are going to be one of the best teams in the NFL. Brian Westbrook is the 3rd best running back (arguably 2nd), we have a solid wide receiver group including Kevin Curtis, Reggie Brown, and more unknown guys that are good like Jason Avant, Hank Baskett, Greg Lewis etc... Our secondary, with the addition of Asante Samuel, is now the best I think. Lito Sheppard, Sheldon Brown, and Brian Dawkins are great. Our O-Line is strong, and our D-line is just as good. With the drafting of Desean Jackson this finally gives us some hope for a strong special teams (which weve never had)..

The Jets recently acquired Favre as im sure you know, which will make them a good team. But they don't really have as strong of a running back (thomas jones) or wide receivers (Coles, Cotchery). Really they dont have anyone special on their team besides Favre.

Unbiased, I think that the Eagles will have a better season.

  2. Eagles deffinetly (im a huge Eagles fan)... all the Jets have is Farve... the Eagls have Westbrook (2nd best RB), Mcnabb (better when healthy), Jackson (fast and great retutner), Samuel (lockdown corner), Sheppard(not always lock down but can handle his own without help from a safety), Brown (hard hitting CB i.e. His hit on Reggie Bush)Dawkins (future HOF)

  3. I'm a Saints Fan, but i believe since the Jets made a HUGE upgrade at quarterback they may be better.  Eagles are determined to try and make a season out of a has been "at best" quarterback.

Just my opinion not trying to get anyone mad.

  4. JETSSSSSSS JETSSSSSSSSS.. THEY HAVE FARVE. GO JETSSSSSSSSSSS

  5. eagles

  6. My money would be on the Eagles, but I will be rooting for the Jets to have the better season.

  7. I'm a Jets fan but Favre is a great QB but they have sucky receivers. The Eagles have a more athletic offense.

  8. first of all the jet's are already 0-2 and the Jets are going to beat them. second of all the Jets have a better qb. did you see his stats from Saturday. so the Jets are going to be better.

  9. Eagles<3

  10. Personally i hope the best to both. This year, it's all about the QBs. With Favre new into the system for the Jets, and Mc Nabb who is injury prone, it's a toss up. but Favre has more to prove. so i guess the Jets will come out a little better at the end of the season.

  11. eagles.  Donovan McNabb is healthy and hungry, Westbrook is still in his prime, and they have a pretty good defense.  All things the Jets lack.... plus some negative karma's headed Favre's way, that's just how the system works.

  12. The fantasy football league I'm in is named "Jets Still Suck"

  13. Of Course Eagles Just Because Jets Got Brett Farve That's It Eagles Have 6 to 10 players That Are Way Better Than Most of Them. While The Jets Only Have That One .So What Are The Difference and The Odds?

  14. The eagles will because of the addition of play-makers like desean jackson and a lock down corner in asante samuel. The jets added alot of pieces in the off season and it will take time to mesh they will be good but not this year and they wont be better than the eagles.

  15. Jetss

  16. Probably the Eagles since the Jets go into the season guaranteed two losses against the Pats.

  17. The Eagles will be better. Last year they were 8-8, and if it weren't for a dropped punt and a stopped Touchdown drive, the Eagles would have been 10-6, and a playoff team. The Eagles only got better. They added CB Asante Samuel, HB Lorenzo Booker, and drafted rookie DeSean Jackson. The Eagles will be 11-5 or 12-4. The Jets will be somewhere between 9-7 and 11-5.

  18. The Eagles because they have a better chance in their division.  Sure the NFC East is the toughest division with every team finishing .500 or better, but they have a better chance in the division because the Pats will most likely win the division again for I don't think the Jets have a chance at a wildcard.  Philly, on the other hand, have a great chance at a wildcard, if not their own division.
