Who will find it easier to get tertiary education: Male or Female? Why?

I personally believe its now easier for a woman to afford college than a man in Jamaica. what do you think?

Men are willing to pay for our college but we would not pay for our boyfriend's college...

Why do you think it's easier for a woman? It's hard for everybody, not just for men. It all depends on how 'well off' they are, as well as how bad they want their education. In this case, the majority of women are more determined than men in that area. But women, by no means are better able to afford tertiary education than men.

*edit*  ...and there ARE women that help men pay for their education, Dudette, so I don't see where your point is going.

P.S. The no. of applicants to the students loan bureau have practically doubled this year. Can't say for sure that most of the applicants are women, but it says a lot with regards to how much people are NOT able to pay their tuition fees.

I think it is equally hard from both men and women. The students loan's bureau or the banks do not have a gender bias as far as i am aware.
