I think it will be Mike Aviles for the Royals iin over 52 games he has a .330 average the highest of any SS in the MLB he has 67 hits with .527 slugging and really shines on a bad team

  1. Geovany Soto of the cubs he is a sub 300 hitter can easily get you 25 to 35 home runs a year he is very young a has more potential and is a really great defensive catcher and if evan longoria is so good why did he barely get in the all-star game just beating jermaine dye by about 100 votes


  2. AL: Evan Longoria he is having a good season. Mike Aviles has great numbers on a bad team so no one knows who he is. He has potential to be great though.

    NL: Jay Bruce is the next Griffey for Cincy he has a pretty solid swing and he hits for both average and power.

    Another good candidate would be Geovany Soto of the Cubs but he is less known. Jay Bruce is highly tauted and should win it

  3. I have to go with Jay Bruce of the Cincinnati Reds.  He has a great glove in the outfield, and is a great contact and power hitter.  Since he started he has been a big part of the Reds.

    Of course...the people who vote don't seem to care about anything but hitting and HRs, so in that scenario, I would say that Geovany Soto would probably win it unfortunately. Jurrjens is a pitcher, so there's no way they will give it to him.

  6. He sounds good but I'd like to see how his stats end up being in 2 more months. Evan Longoria is pretty much guaranteed to win ROY this year.

    plays killer defense....has a good power bat....average isnt terrible and will only get better.....hes young on a team that will be good for a long time.....he'll basically be the rays version of Derek Jeter in that he will be the face of the organization for years to come
