  1. 1.Geelong

    2.Adelaide

    3.Hawthorne

    4.Fremantle

    5.Collingwood

    6.Essonden

    7.St.Kilda

    8.Swans

these are in my opinion the teams to watch for maybe West Coast will sneak in there some where, but anyway those are my pics

  2. Carlton. essendon geelong. hawthorn. freemantle. adelaide. brisbane. port adelaide

  3. If it were the 6 best teams, I would say Geelong and the Saints to fight out the final, Collingwood and Sydney to make the semi's, the six made up by Adelaide, Essendon, and the two that bailout first final, whichever two other interstate teams Andy D is favouring this year. Probably Port and the Vultures(WCE).If it were the eight best, I would substitute the Dogs and the Kangas for the latter two.

  4. In order Round 22 order:  (If I get this right, you owe me a beer, right?)

    Carlton

    Hawthorn

    Adelaide

    Geelong

    Collingwood

    West Coast

    St Kilda

    Richmond

Carlton to bow out unceremoniously from the finals, thumped by the Cats and St Kilda.  Grand Final between Hawks and Cats.  Cats to win - revenge for 89 at last!!!!!

EDIT:  Sorry .. reasons!  Carlton and Richmond will surprise even themselves.  Carlton slogging out a lot of wins and Richmond being flashy.  Both teams will struggle in finals pressure.  The bubble will appear to burst at Kardinia at some stage - something HAS to go wrong.  But the real class left will be Crows, Cats, Pies and Hawks.  Hawthorn will make it to the GF on the back of passion and young talent but not be good enough.

  5. Geelong

    Carlton

    Nth Melbourne

    Essendon

    Saints

    West Coast

    Crows

    Port Power

But the way the teams are runnig at the moment, all teams have first squds with an average age of 10, so it is making tipping at the moment very hard indeed..

Looking at the way the teams are working together I would put the Dons first, but i think they will struggle when the home and away season starts as i think the pressure will be a very telling part of this season..

I do not like the Demons, they are not playing at all at preset, they are all over the place and I think that any fans that are expectin a different season to last year is going to be diss-appointed..

But Geelong have come out and I think they can put a back to back challege on..

The Swans are c**p, and their draft didn't do them any favors, until they get some young exciting youngsters and stop relying on the same old guys they will be going down hard the next few season, Barry Hall is definatly the most over-rated player of a long time, if he didn't have the other players backing him up then he would have nothing, and those players need to be able to keep up, and they may struggle this year..

  6. My top 8......in no particular order.

    Geelong....Best team by far.

    Hawthorn...Team with excitment.

St Kilda....Time to come out of the closet and do something.

West Coast....Behaviour problems. They need to let off some steam.

Adelaide.... Will surprise a lot of so called experts.

    Brisbane.... The Jonathon Brown factor.

Nth Melbourne......Laidley has them playing well.

    Port Adelaide.....Why, I dont know.

  7. My Final 8 in no order

Geelong  They are the best team from last season, if they are half as good as what they were in 2007 they will still play finals.

Port Adelaide Regardless what people think of them, they are still one of the better teams in the comp.

North Melbourne Good young team expect them to be in the 8 for the next few seasons

Hawthorn  Good young team with heaps of talent should be part of the finals for the next 5 seasons

Brisbane The team i fear, they showed that they are a good team at the end of last season when they started to get almost a full list on the park again. A healthy Brisbane will beat many teams in the 8

Collingwood - Good young team should be even better than last season

Adelaide - Have recruited well and got what they needed, although they have seen players retire or leave they still have the talent and an adaptable game plan

Sydney - Just for the fact that they make every other team play their style of football. Good team not great, but they work hard to make sure other teams play the way they want them to.

  8. My top 8 in order is this;

Geelong- best side in the league by a long way have Ablett, Johnson and many, many others.

Hawthorn - played well last year and have  a good forward in Buddy Franklin.

Collingwood - they have a good midfield and solid defense.

Adelaide - as long as they keep their good players on the park they will go far.

Western Bulldogs - had plenty of injuries last season but with the pace they have they could go far.

Kangaroos - have a good list with the likes of Brent Havery and others.

West Coast Eagles - have lost two great players like Judd and Cousins I think this could be one of there last seasons in top 8.

Brisbane - have a great centre half-forward and will be boosted by Travis Johnstone/

  9. 1.St.Kilda - i think this is there year, they have the list and i think they will put it all together this year

2.Geelong - just a very strong side all over the filed

3.Collingwood - they are on the way up, a lot of good young kids

4.Port Power - makeing a GF is no fluke and they still have the talent there to make top 4

5.West Coast - have lost a lot of good players but i think they still have great talent there

6.Fremantle - this must by there year for the 8

7.Hawthorn - Buddy will get them there

8.Essendon - they will be the bolters of the season

  10. At this point in time I would say half the teams will make the top 8 hahahahaha

I think Geelong have a go chance to be at the top again.

along with, in no real order, Hawthorn, Adelaide, Essendon, Bulldogs, Hope to see Fremantle up there they keep promising but never get there so hopeful this year, and either Kangaroo, Carlton, Sydney, and Brisbane in the last two stops.

Don't think Richmond, Melbourne, will get there, but Collingwood and Port could be there too.
