If Oscar is still serious about two more bouts, I think the Cotto-Margarito winner would be the route to go next, since Mayweather has bailed out.

Oscar would definitely get someone who will go toe-to-toe with him, improving his chances of landing a stoppage blow, without Mayweather being in the picture, but at the same his chances of getting stopped would increase as well.

I hoping he fights the winner of Margarito and Cotto. I don't see him fighting Hatton or Pacquiao. I think that De La Hoya is NOT about money anymore, he is just trying to improve his legacy by fighting the best. I also heard some rumors talking about Winky Wright fighting De La Hoya. Richard Shaefer said that Oscar's next opponent will be announced next week.

i think you can exclude ricky hatton altogether as i doubt very much if he will take on a good fighter at welter ever again as he is so limited and weak at that weight.would like to see cotto and think that would finish oscar.would really like to see mayweather cotto and i would not rule it out.

I say the Cotto/Margarito winner. This is where the big $$$ are. Hatton is more a folk hero than viable contender. Paqcqoiu? Little guy moving up in weight? I don't think so.
