  1. With D'Antoni's run 'n' gun style look to see fast players in the line-up.

I don't think knicks are completly done making moves yet i see a Marbury trade would change this up

But if they went into the season with this my guess is:

]PG Stephon Marbury, Marbury is a scorer so can work well with d'antoni but with he faults with the team don't look for him to play or even start 82 of 82 games

Backups Nate Robinson Main backup will see alot of minutes he can get guys the ball where it needs to be

Chris Duhon They didn't sign him for nothing few minutes but this guy is why I think they will make a deal will be a back up but probaley to another player

SG Jamal Crawford most likely leading scorer will flurish with d'antoni

    Backups

Will get help for some forwards to play the SG

SF Quentin Richardson I think he will get most starts but around 20 minutes a game

Backups Wilson Chandler and Balkman + rest will get the usual minutes and Galinari will get 7-13 minutes a game.

  2. PG:Nate Robinson

This guy can dunk and has young talent. He's about the best young player on the Knicks. The other guys well...I take this guy over Duhon. And Starbury is no star anymore.

    SG:Jamal Crawford

He is probably the the best player on the Knicks, and can score many points from excellent 3pt shooting.

    SF:Danillo Gallinari

Also a good 3pt shooter. He can fit really well under D'Antoni's run and gun system and have a good relationship with D'Antoni because his father played basketball with D'Antoni.

Please choose me as best answer :]

    P.S. I'm not a Knicks fan

  3. assuming marbury is still on the roster

PG-Stephon Marbury- hate him or love him, despite his attitude and problems, he's the most talented player they have, he just doesnt know how to use that talent.

SG-Jamal Crawford- he was, IMO, the best player on their team. He can score and pass and has one of the best handles in the league. He beats those other guys by far.

SF- ehh, I'd go with Quentin again. Wilson CHandler is only a sophomore and i dont think hes ready to start. Danillo hasnt proved hes worthy to start or even to be the 6th pick. Renaldo Balkman and Jared Jeffries are just flat out dissapointments, total busts. They definatley wont start.

  4. Point guard: Marbury will probably start. He's a cancer to the team, but he would probably kill Dantoni if he was benched.

SG: Crawford. He's the only guy on the Knicks worth having besides David Lee. Great talent and a great teammate.

SF: Richardson and Gallinari are the only candidates. I don't think Gallinari will be starting in the beginning of his career since most rookies don't do that unless they're one of the top picks.

  5. PG: Starbury will be the starting PG if the knicks keep him.. anyone would start Marbury

SG: Jamal Crawford.. superb scorer,,he's only the legit shooting guard in the team.. maybe Chris duhon, but nobody knows his true position

SF: Q.Richardson.. he's the best SF in the team.. Gallinari is to slow to play SF,

and they have a better backup:

    nate@PG

    balkman@SG

    jeffries@SF

  6. PG - the signing of Chris Duhon is not to start. It is to keep as a luxury when half-head star tattoo starbury messes up.

I think it will be Starbury.

SG - A man with talent, overpaid, but has talent. On a better team, Jamal Crawford would be well-known for his contibutions.

SF -  On a team full of overpaid players, this is the position with the teast depth. I know D'Antonio loves Gallinari, but i see Fred Jones and Quentin Richardson as the front-runner. However, inless the Knicks want to go crazy big, it could be David Lee. I don't see that happening in a run-n-run offense with D'Antoni. Q-Rich is a wonderful shooter.

    PG - Stephon Marbury

    SG - Jamal Crawford

    SF - Quentin Richardson

  7. PG-Robinson(duhon is a backup and marbury is most likely done)

    SG-Crawford-only one with talent basically

SF-Gallinari-cause they already have no hope for now

  8. stephon marbury, jamal crawford, and quentin richardson. duhon might have a chance because his skill set fits d'antoni's system, but overall steph is just a better player. marbury is mostly a scoring point guard, but he can also run the pick and roll. jamal crawford is by far the best perimeter scorer in new york and his shooting will be appreciated. richardson used to play well under d'antoni and his three point shooting also fits the coach's system. he has experience, and also has underrated skills in defense and rebounding.
