  1. The FIRST top fighter he faces.

  2. mike tyson lol - although he is slightly overweight now lol

  3. all who say him and diaz would be a good fight are kidding themselves. diaz would destroy this kid and all real boxing fans know that.

  4. on his performance last night, he would get battered by who ever holds the world championship belts. remember this is only the commonwealth belt he was defending. he hasnt fought any of the big or even medium guys in his weight division.

i cant remeber, but was it khan who said he would love to fight hatton a few months back??? hatton has fought the best in the world at his class and got beat only once by the very very best. khan would be stupid to even think about getting in the ring with hatton as he would be badly beaten

  5. he in his prime bein 21 and he always fights older just wait till he gets older he will get ko :)

  6. They were just talking about getting him to fight the world champion next year. Whoever that is.

  7. Well gomez nearly did a pretty good job then! I don't think you can say he wasn't "really challenged" tonight! I do agree with you though he does seem to just keep getting better and better - just needs to be careful he doesn't get over confident and make silly mistakes :)

  8. what about the man he knocked down in bolton whilst speeding? he just died a few weeks ago, a broken man, penniless and in debt.

  9. nate campbell/ joel casamayor/ joan guzman but guzman would be a gd fight coz campbell and casamayor are looking to have a unification match

  10. The Mexi-cutioner Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, Juan Diaz, Joan Guzman, Katsidis to name a few. Khan was very poor against Gomez in my opinion he may have won but was troubled at times, every boxer loses eventually except if your Floyd Mayweather or Joe Calzaghe.

  11. Amir Khan is a great boxing icon for youths in english and is a very good up and coming young fighter but he has still a long way to go before he goes in against big fighters like ricky hatton and others in that bracket, he has high ambitions to be a world champion early but the rushing could be his downfall, i believe that he could go for the WBU world title 2morrow however i would stay well clear of the main titles untill he gains at least 5 more fights or he will get knocked out, if gomez (khans last opponant) is anything to go by then ricky hatton is khans cryptonite as it does not seem khan can fight on the inside and that is where ricky hatton operates all fight, but i really hope he takes his time in his career and the big fights will come

  12. With any luck the courts, if he keeps running over people while overtaking and running red lights, idiot that he is. That man should never be allowed in a boxing ring, let alone to be on television earning himself thousands.

  13. Amir is a truly gifted boxer, we all make mistakes so unless your name is God quit snipping someone who is doing what he loves & is dam good at it.

Juan Diaz would be a good opponent for Amir.

He looks after his whole family helps out in the comunity & trains long & hard.

I think Amir is growing in strengh with each fight & i don't think he has reached his full purtencial yet.

  14. amir khan is a naturaly gifted boxer he is strong accurate and very very fast at 3 quarter distance but he lacks basic abilities,,he is all attack and has no defence against a left hook gets caught every single time....he needs to go back to school and learn to mix it up a little...he will win a minor world title like naseem but doesnt have the pedigree....when he makes the mistake of taking on one of the best he will be finished as his foundations are poor

  15. i recken hee needs to go to america and he willl get challenged by some of the most toughest fighters around. but if he comes out glorius then we can all say that he is not overrated.

  16. jeeeez give the kid a break for all u haters out there, i would love to see one of u fools get in the ring with him ye and see what happens, he is a quality boxer and fook that thing about the younger american boxers , its like so what are american boxers supposed to be elite tests for british boxers? ermmm i dont think so its more like the other way around, name how many top champs u got then name ours, your best is kelly pavlik, he is to busy ducking a fight with our calzaghe, amir khan should step up a weight and have a scrap with that **** timothy bradley or what ever he is called, or step down for a fight with manny in the future, note how i say future....he is a friggin kid ffs achieve more than any of u losers on here so quick to judge him

  17. Khan is the best lightweight in Britain, so he would beat any of the other british lightweights out there at present.

However, Kevin Mitchell, who is a Super Feather could move up to lightweight, he would have a real chance of winning against Khan.

At world level, Casamayor, Katsidis and Diaz would have too much for Khan i feel. As would a fair few of the Mexican and South American contenders in the top ten.

Khan has a dodgy chin, he has now been floored twice by fighters from a lower weight division. Willie Limond who had only ever stopped 3 men in around 25 fights, and was from a lower weight division badly hurt Khan, Gomez from that same lowrr division floored him too, and Gomez was well past his best days.

  18. He might be stopped by a very heavy punching, clever boxer but I truly think he will improve his defensive qualities and will pick his punches more effectively. He now relies on his speed and capacity to punch like a machine gun but I believe he has the ability to change his style and will eventually become a very great boxing champion.Last night he appeared to have been caught by a short left hook and one has to worry about the effect it had on Amir.

  19. I think he should fight carl Johannson (at little bit past it Kahn would be way 2 quick for him but he can bang) or Kevin Mitchell (wow what a fight that would be) on a domestic level both of them could knock him out.

But on the world stage someone like Casamayor(whos a little bit old but still class), Juan Diaz or Maybe Nate Campbell but i reckon Amir Kahn would destroy Campbell who was lucky to beat Diaz anywayz! Theirs also a guy called Michael Katsidis who can really punch he could knock kahn out he can really bang, theirs loads wel have to wait and see. Kahn is world class though and id back him against anyone apart from Juan Diaz!

Their the big names at the weight class though Diaz and Campbell and soon Kevin Mitchell i think.

Campbell holds 3 of the titles at kahns weight which he took from Juan diaz!

Juan Diaz fights Katsidis later this year, try and catch that fight if you can, that will be awesome!

  20. Anyone with a pulse who's below 30 and not effing punch drunk,oh and a genuine lightweight!

  21. Amir Khan is a young idol for many kids and adults. He is only 21 and hes still very young and considering his age he has done an excellent job in his career and he is a joy to watch.

His body is s**y and is face is gawjuss. there are millions of girls out there who want to marry him. So he must have sum affect on them.

Khan is just the best. i love him.

    =D

    x

  22. i think as soon as he faces a boxer with good all round abilities and a bit of youth. I like khan hes a great kid but he has alot to learn,  and a beaten shell of the old time Gomez, who only made british champ at his best shown that. Gomez  did not jab his way in just bobbed and weaved forward to get in and then didn't do any in side body work to slow khan down he did no boxing what so ever in side or out,to set up the shot or make openings he just waited for openings and shot and didn't even side step to avoid shots or set up shots he was pathetic but still ad khan in serious trouble it seems khan has no punch resistance head or body and it didn't take a sustained attack to do that.  Gomez has respectable power but not concussive so any all round fighter with a good punch who still as something left will make themselves some easy money Thomas Hearns got away with it but khan is no Hearns so he wont. i think it will be a sad day when it happens and trust me it will

  23. when he comes against a top young boxer from america then  maybe you will see it
