Spies is planning on a motogp ride. Will the team go back to a two bike field or will they bring some new talent?

I would like to see Niel Hodgson on that ride. That way we could see who's the better man. Niel or Mladin

  1. Hey 51.

I dont follow the AMA like I know I should, so do you think there is any chance of James Elison picking up that ride?

N.H is a great talent I agree, but I think some new young talent is in order.

  2. I know pretty much nothing about suprebike but I do watch MotoGP so I can tell lots of good riders, like Colin Edwards, will have to search for a new team. As far as I know Colin is either staying in the Yamaha Tech 3 team or is moving to superbike.

So why not.. maybe he'll be the answer to your question. Still I have to admit that I'm just trying to answer a question that I know nothing about, please excuse me if I said something very silly :))

  3. From what I've read Ben has not been promised a Moto GP ride until 2009. The Suzuki sqaud is already complete with Vermulen and Capirossi, with no sign of a third bike.

To that end, I think Ben will be staying with Yoshi next year (and with his salary who could blame him), with a view to moving over to Moto Gp ready for the 2009 season.

I seem to remember back in 2003, when WSBK didn't have control tires that Neil Hodgson beat Matt Mladin comprehensively at Laguna Seca when Matt wild carded there. Neils time with AMA doesn't really count as he was on uncompetitive machinery.
