It's a shame that Tim Russert died so early - who can fill his place now as the moderator of Meet the Press?

Some people at NBC are:

Tom Brokaw

Chris Matthews

David Gregory

Chuck Todd

There are plenty of other journalists who might also be candidates - who do you think can do it?

  1. if any of your choices makes the list I am canceling my TV.

  2. Andrea Mithcell...she personafies professionalism and fairness in her reporting.  I think she would present the right balance.

Rest in peace Tim..........you will be missed.

  3. I think Matt Lauer can do it.

  4. Mika B on MSNBC!

  5. Russert was one of a kind. No one will replace him and do as good a job. I believe that Brokaw would turn it down. I think Gregory could be passable but no Russert. Mathews is a joke, but looks like a newsman next to Olberman. Joe Scarboro has  impressed a few with his ability. Chuck Todd would be better than Mattews.

  6. the king is dead, long live the king.................

  7. No one on that short list could take his place.

    Sleep with the Angels Tim...
