1. Gordon. We need to keep Hinrich because whenever teams like the Lakers come to town we put Hinrich on Kobe, or for instance with the Hawks he did a good job on Joe Johnson. Hinrich's defense will keep him on the team. Gordon can't play defense.

  2. well deng isnt a guard...and i dont think there gonna get rid of hinrich unless the right offer comes up and if they lose gordan it will b to europe

  3. Deng's staying thank god. babyballer... if the bulls sign gordon for more than deng then they are CRAZY. deng is an extremely versatile 6-9 sf who has a terrific future ahead of him. Gordon is an undersized, one dimensional shooting guard who can't play defense or point guard. The only thing that makes Gordon worth paying enough to go over the luxury tax is that with Rose running the point Gordon would kill on the perimeter. Hinrich will likely stay because he is a terrific defensive player who can play the 1 or 2 spot, has an outside shot, and can take a lot of pressure off of the rookie Rose. I would like to see larry hughes leave the bulls no matter who we get back for him. It'd be nice if we could trade him for a halfway decent back-up center. Then, you have Rose starting point, Hinrich starting 2 guard with Gordon (if they could sign him) and Sefalosha coming in as your two guards off the bench, then if Rose comes out you can slide Hinrich to the point. But since that's not likely to happen, I would say if a really tantalizing deal doesn't come across for Hinrich/ any deal doesn't come across for Hughes, the Bulls will let Gordon go in a sign and trade or via free agency and save some cap space for the 09 and 10 offseasons.

  4. .gordon will go. hinrich is too valuable to the bulls. and deng is a vercitile power forward/ small forward. gordon will go

  5. i don't know!

  6. i learned from some sources that a 80% chance that gordon will be signed if hinrich will be traded in the next 3 weeks. i expect that gordon will sign with the bulls for a 6 year/ 74 million dollar deal. the bulls will trade hinrich to denver along with hughes for iverson and cash. the cash will help lower their cap room to around the -5 million dollar range.

  7. What up SC,

The Bulls just resigned Deng for 6 yrs/$71 million. With the amount of money that they gave Deng- they do not have enough money for Gordon. So there has been discussions of trading Gordon in a sign and trade.

Most thought that Hinrich would be traded after the drafting of Rose- but the Bulls seem to like Hinrich and are not opposed to playing him with Rose (Deng would be their starting SF) and so it seems like Gordon is the odd man out. He's either leaving as a free agent signed to another team- or will be traded away in a sign and trade- chances are Ben Gordon will not be a Chicago Bull next year.
