Who will the Islanders pick up in the Entry Draft?

Maybe the Lightning are stupid enough to trade the number 1 pick.

It's usually the Isles that are stupid and trade their pick. Ryan Smythe ring a bell?

However,It would be interesting if they offered Tampa to switch picks and throw in a second round pick.

I'm not high on Pietrangelo because his desire is in question. If they don't take him, I see them trading down and taking either Cody Hodgson or Mikkel Boedker. At lot of the top prospects are D-Men, and despite needing a puck-mover(Who doesn't?), the only one I see who could possibly fill that need and be left on the board would be Michael Del Zotto, which would be another trade down situation.

This was actually an intelligent question. Too bad you always have to ruin it with stupid remarks. Use your powers for good instead of evil. You can still be funny without being a jerk. Everyone else seems to manage.

Whoever we pick will probably be traded after a year or two and then turn into the star player he should have been with us....look at our track record....Osgood, Z.Parise, Betruzzi just to name the first ones that popped in my head.

They were thinking of picking you, until they realized you have absolutely zero hockey knowledge, and that you get your kicks by bashing someone you've never met in a chat room full of other people you ALSO have no idea who are. Even if they did land the #1 pick, they'd probably get in contact with the New York Jets management and pick accordingly.
