Who will the Leafs choose for backup goalie?

Pogge? Clemmensen? Free agent goalie (name him)? Draft picked goalie? It's really confusing.

Having Cujo back would be pretty ausome! So if we can get him he could be a great backup OR  i think we should bring Cleemmensen up as the back up and have Pogge as the starter goalie for Marlies.

I think that the leafs should really foucs on a strong main goalie like trading the goalie they have right now to the sharks along with macabe or caberle.

bring up clemmensen... put pogge starting in marlies, pull up a prospect from echl for the marlies backup.

clemmensen is getting old and doesnt have too much time left, but has the experience and skill.

pogge has the skill but still needs some fine tuning, i think give him a season of starting ad coming up when needed... and he will be ready to go!

cujo would be GOOD.

but easiest is calling up clemmensen, and getting pogge back in goal for the marlies. HE NEEDS TO BE DEVELOPED

Although Fletcher wants someone besides Pogge or Clemmensen right now, I would suggest Clemmensen especially because he's got the experience in sitting out long periods of time. Toskala will man the pipes for a long stretch of the season (barring any chance of serious injury) just as Brodeur did in New Jersey.

Cujo is a possibility, but they would do better bringing on Conklin.

If they have any brains, they should ease Pogge in...not sit his as$ as a backup on the Marlies.

If they got Conklin, I think if he showed the resiliency he had in Pittsburgh, he could wrestle the starting job from Toskalol.
