Unfortunately, they don't have enough prospects for any of those guys. LoDuca blew up in the clubhouse a couple of times last year, and I don't think management wants him back.

Xavier Nady would be nice, but other clubs have more to offer for him than the Mets.

lo duca was a met already, and they have 2 platooning catchers, so thats not happening.

fuentes would be nice, but he probably wants way too much money to not be a closer.

nady already was a met too, although he wasn't bad. that could happen again.

holliday would be nice, the mets need a corner outfielder, but that seems unlikely. its almost like saying "we need a closer, lets get mariano." holliday's pretty much the best corner outfielder there is.

jason bay i guess could happen. although i dont really like him.

i think ibanez is most likely.

I heard that Sean Casey will most likely be traded to the Mets or Braves.

As for Brian Fuentes,he has a few teams that are interested in him:Mets,Red Sox,Tigers,and Marlins.

Xavier Nady's asking price might be too high,because it was too high for the Yankees

I think there is a slim chance Holliday will be traded out of Colorado,same with Lo Duca out of Washington and Jason Bay out of Pittsburgh.

I don't think they need to make any big deal trades,maybe just a big bat and a pitcher but that's it because they have been playing very well lately.
