  1. This game could be a a lot more entertaining than people give it credit for. Allow me to break the game down:

Denver Offense vs Oakland Defense: Denver always has a great running game, and Jay Cutler looks like he's about to break out as a great quarterback. The problem is, Brtandon Marshall will be missing. They'll be going up against a Raiders defense that is great, that causes a lot of havoc with their blitz schemes, and play tight man-to-man coverage. On the outside they have 2 shutdown corners in DeAngelo Hall, and arguably the best cornerback in the league behind Champ Bailey, in Nnamdi Asomugha. I look for Jay Cutler to struggle a little bit, mainly in part because his best receiver is missing.

Oakland Offense vs Denver Defense: The Oakland offense is almost a mirror image of Denver's, except the quarterback position is completely different. They have an outstanding running game with Justin Fargas, and Darren McFadden who looks like he'll bust on to the scene very quickly. But, JaMarcus Russell doesn't have a lot of experience, and is going up against an aggressive defense in Denver, with Champ Bailey and Dre Bly on the outsides. Due to Oakland's lack of playmakers at receiver, look for them to try and pound the ball all night, because Denver is still a little small in the middle of that defense.

Special Teams: This game will be played on a lot of long fields, barring any long returns.I expect a lot of kickoffs to be in the endzone or out of bounds, and for the punters to get a lot of hang time, which favors the Raiders a lot with guys like Shane Lechler and Sebastian Janikowski. Their leg strength can really do some damage for Denver, constantly pinning them back near their 20 yard lines on kickoffs and punts.

Bottom line, a lot of people would go with Denver becuse they appear to be the better team, but this game sets up nicely for Oakland to pull out a win. The key will be whether Jamarcus Russell can pass the ball efficiently when needed. If he can do that, I look for the Raiders to pull out a close win, 20-14.

  2. I'm sorry Nikki but I have to go with the Raiders...

  3. McFadden is already ready for Primetime, and Jamarcus could be a great dual threat qb someday.  also they got some nice defenders in the 2ndary, so I'm going Raiders.  unless Cutler can play up to his full potential.  should be a good game that I will defintely not watch if it starts after 10:30!

  4. I like both teams so it's kinda hard to choose. But I choose the Raiders.

  5. Wow, thats kinda cought me off guard, i think the Broncos is better, but @ Oakland, anything can happen. But i don't think that '' anything'' is good news for the Raiders, Broncos 23-14

  6. Broncos should win this game 28-10.
