In the final between Australia and India, Australia will win the champion's trophy. But India should select the team carefully. My selection of the 15 member team is:

Batsmen: Sachin, Gambhir, Sourav, Raina, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Dravid, Rohit Sharma.

Captain / Keeper: Dhoni.

Bowlers: Kartik, Sreesanth, Agarkar, RP Singh, Praveen Kumar, Chawla.

Dravid has been axed but is Robin Uthappa any better than Dravid ? In the last 31 matches, 22 innings, Dravid scored 823 runs and took 13 catches. In the same time, Uthappa played 35 matches, scored 688 runs in 26 innings and took 14 catches. In what way is Dravid's performance inferior ?

Ishant Sharma appears to be getting favourable treatment but his performance (in the last 17 matches, he took 22 wickets for 695 runs in 811 balls, and scored 13 runs) is not very great. In the same time, Agarkar played 17 matches and took 25 wickets for 802 runs in 924 balls, and scored 71 runs). Agarkar has this tendency to take wickets every 32-33 balls, like Sreesanth. Young Ishant Sharma took a wicket every 37 balls.
