  1. The way things are lookin, I think Evans. But I'm rooting for Liddel and want to see him win.

    Hes a legend of MMA.

  2. I see chuck winning, he will keep the fight on the feet and if he does get taken down he will just stand back up, I really dont know how good evens chin is but we will find out.

  3. If Liddel learned anything from his last two fights he will make short work of Evans. If he didn't Evans will win a boring decision by out pointing Chuck for 3 rounds.

  4. Thats a tuff one, I would love to see Liddell win, with the exception of one headkick on a guy who had probably never been kicked before Evans hasnt been very exciting.

That being said I dont know if Liddell's take down defense is still good enough to keep evans off of him, and on top of that Evans is an elusive boxer, and has much faster hands than Liddell. Im affriad Evans might be able to point out a decsion.

    Hopefully Liddell can catch him.

  5. I am going 50/50 on this one.

    Why Rashad Evans Could Win:

Evans dominated Ortiz's takedown defense, and Liddell's sprawl and takedown defense (as good as it is) would make this a challenge for evans, a division one collegiate wrestler with amazing mat skills and takedown ability. Rashad Evans knows the importance of ending a fight and he has great hand speed. He could also connect with some big shots and end this fight. Liddell isn't invincible, as liddell vs. jackson 2 proved that.

    Why Liddell Could Win:

If you think about it, Liddell has never really been dominated on the ground because it rarely goes there with him. if he keeps it that way, he'll go home happy. But, if Rashad Evans' tries to make a statement and stand with the Iceman in his world, we'll be seeing Liddell vs. Couture 2 and everyone will go home satisfied. Liddell is also a division 1 collegeiate wrestler, so we may see a great grappling and standup match. Liddell's hand speed and posture isn't the greatest either, but when he connects, HE CONNECTS IN A BIG WAY!

A well placed punch, submission, or slam can end any fight. its really all up to chance. So, we'll see what happens because we all just want to get what we pay for. I hope they give us our money's worth.

  6. iceman

  7. Chuck will win by KO, then he will fight(and destroy) F. Griffin

  8. I got to say liddell .. eventhough i dont like his fighting style ..

wanna know why ?? go look at his resume ..

  9. You have to go with Liddell.

    1. Evans' past two fights: Split decision win vs. Bisping and a draw vs. Tito who is washed up.

    2. Talent of opponents: Liddel has fought W. Silva, Rampage (2), Babalu (who was riding a huge win streak), and Couture (3). Evans fought: Bisping, Sean Salmon, Jason Lambert, and Stephan Bonnar. So if you are looking at who deserves to be considered at the top of the 205 division it is definitely Liddell.

    3. Evans cannot finish the fight. He has only finished 2 of his UFC fights Salmon and Lambert. Both came by KO. If you think Evans can KO Liddell, then you are crazy. Also, Evans has proven that he is unable to finish on the ground.

    4. Liddell can finish the fight. He went to a decision his last 2 fights: Jardine and Silva. Silva took a lot of punches in that fight that probably would have KO'ed most other fighters. Out of his past 12 fights, those are the only 2 that have gone the distance.

Rashad's only chance is to take Liddell down, which is extremely difficult, and to lay on top of him. Rashad cannot compete standing up with Liddell and hasn't shown any ground skills that have the potential to finish a fight.

  10. This fight is going to go good for Liddell.  Evans just tries to get people down and lay on them.  Liddell is very hard to get down he has great defense on that... Also if Chuck utilizes his leg kicks like he should then I think he will catch him with a KO for sure!
