Who will win in this MMA rules match: Bret Hart or Chris Benoit?

i actually emailed dave meltzer (sp?) this

exact question as he is the best mma and pro wrestling

expert but unfortuanetly he never got back,

to me both have great stamina , great subs with the slight

strenght edge to the crippler,both will never tap ,i guess

it depends who can get their finisher on as the sharp shooter

might be harder to get just by a bit,

haveing said that i really think this is a toss up

but my brain will go with bret .

Are we including the  extensive concussions suffered by both men?  I guess not.

Both men were trained by Stu Hart, who was a legendary trainer in the business.

Stu Hart taught all his sons how to shoot-fight just in case they found themselves in the ring with somebody who wanted to take liberties with them.  Whether he taught Benoit the same way I'm not sure.

Bret was also an amature wrestling standout.  So there's that to consider too.

I'm going to say Bret Hart.

stu would bring big guys back to the dungeon just to hurt them. he had to have past those techniques on to both of them. so regardless of who wins it would be some good mat work.

i would give benoit a slight edge in the stand up because he look's like he can throw bombs. the wrestling i would also give to benoit. but i think bret would be the better at submission's.

if it stay's standup then benoit would win

on the ground i think the hitman would take it.

Benoit will as its easier to lock in the crossface than the sharpshooter, or benoit can even make it an pull back armbar
