Notre Dame went 3-9 last year, and not only that, but they got CRUSHED in almost all of those losses. The only team they beat that WASN'T bad was UCLA. That’s great that they have 17 of 22 starters back, but guess what, most of those guys suck. Given their schedule and their depth chart, Notre Dame is going to go 2-10 or 3-9 again in 2008, and Charlie Weis will be fired.

It’s obvious by now that Jimmy Clausen is a grossly overrated quarterback. His two brothers-Casey and Rick-were premoddanas who never lived up to the hype, and Jimmy appears to be following his brother’s sad footsteps. Just like last season, Weis will be throwing around Clausen, Evan Sharpley, and the Cist kid around all season, and once again, with horrible results.

There's only three players the Fightless Irish got who are any good: tailback Robert Hughes, left tackle Sam Young, and middle linebacker Maurice Crum. They lost their best player in safety Tom Zibikowski, so that will hurt the defense tremendously, as they were already bad to begin with. The offensive line is horrendous aside from Young, and I've never seen two more overrated runningbacks then former 5 stars Armando Allen and James Aldridge. And their receivers are mediocre at best. Freshmen like Daval Kumara and Golden Tate were thrown into the fire last season, and sure enough, they came up with mediocre stats. David Grimes is their best receiver, and he wouldn't be the 4th receiver at Michigan

Notre Dame is a bad/horrible football team with a bad coach in Weis. I stand by my claim that the Wolverines will shut the Irish out in a blowout victory. Michigan has outscored ND 85-21 the last two seasons. RR is going to be looking to make a statement in his first game against one of the Wolverines rivals. Our defensive line abused their o-line, and our D-line returns all four starters. Our running game abused their defense, and we have Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor to run the ball down their throats again this season (Minor had 17 carries for 82 yards against ND last season). We've also got Greg Mathews back, who had a TD catch against ND last season. And Weis fired up the entire Wolverines team by saying to "h**l with Michigan," so now Michigan is going to be coming out with vengeance trying to win this game.
