It's a boring answer and no one really cares or will remember the answers any way but I'll still take 'gazza',  to beat  brent Harvey, with big Richo to just hold on to 3rd place(  have to say that for my place bet to get up on Richo).

Brownlows are a bit overrated really when all is said and done, umpires are woosy wannabees who could never be,  they haven't even played the game, they wouldn't know what is asked of each player by his coaching staff, they just see stats and say "he got 35 stats, yep,3 votes"       don't worry what a player does with them,   i would rather a player have 20 kicks and all hit a team mate going forward than 35 possessions, half miss the target,the other half are non influential,   as i said umpires have to much other stuff to watch then who us doing what.

I'm over the brownlow, since i wore the '36 one at my joint a couple of months  back, lol.  i should of wore it to the pub and picked up a r**t, ok i'm dreaming now.

Ultimatly, the umpires have to like the player so it probably wont be anyone obvious. Perhaps a solid player from Hawthorn or Western Bulldogs or maybe even another team.

Personally, I have more respect for the players association award that is voted for by footy playing peers. You dont need to fear being in the umpires bad books to win this one!

The favourite never wins, but this year, I think the betting may be spot on and Ablett will win. Cooney was a chance, but he has been playing average lately. Harvey and Bartel are also in with a chance.
