  1. Alrite. You seem like another one of those NON-Jet fans who listen to the media all day long, who have their heads up the Patriots @$$. I will fill you in on some pretty realistic info. The Jets running back Thomas Jones gained over 1100 yards last season behind a not so good line. With the addition of Alan Faneca, this left side needs 3-4 weeks to gain chemistry, but soon Jones will be just like Adrian Peterson last year running behind Tony Rich, and Faneca. The passing game.... Favre is better than Clemens, Pennington, Ratliff, and Ainge all combined. Having Favre in there, and throwing to a speedster like Coles, and Keller, it will open the run game up EVEN MORE! The offense is set, no worries. Now on defense. Vernon Gholston is a rookie, David Harris, and Darrelle Revis are 2nd year guys, so their young and need time to develop. David Harris only started 8 or 9 games last year, but had only 30-40 tackles less than the league leader.... SICK STATS! Revis is becoming a shut down corner (Braylon did score on him 1 on 1 last nite, but come on that was one heck of a lucky catch) Kris Jenkins will stuff the run, and Kerry Rhodes has been snubbed out of the last 2 pro bowls for guys who are known by name only, and stats have been was less than Rhodes were. The return game is #1 in the AFC, Justin Miller and Leon Washington are pro bowl guys. Chad Pennington with a good line is good enough to take this team allllll the way to the AFC division title game (Should have been the AFC Championship game, thanks to Doug Brien missing 2 EASY field goals, at the end of the game, and another in OT) but Favre cant? It makes me sick when people hate so badly on the Jets, its disgusting! Always overshadowed by the cheaters and cry babies of the league!

    2008-09 records....

    NY Jets- 12-4

    NE Pats-10-6

    Buffalo Bills-8-8

    Miam Dolphins-6-10

  2. The Patriots are definatetly the heavy favorite again to win this division... although a newly revamped offensive line, and the addtion of brett favre will definately help the jets... Favres ability to open up a downfield passing game will bring a new component in the jets offense and should help them open up room for the running game... this said their defense still has lots to prove and will largely depend on the success of gholston and calvin pace to solidify the defense.... the bills slide to third even though their offense has some brightspots... and my boys the fins are stuck at the bottom again although i see them winning between 4-6 games this year as parcells has brought in a number of solid players... and instilled his passion to win.

  3. Patriots for sure they will probably go 6-0 in the division.

    Then Jets

    Bills

    Dolphins.

  4. Patriots have to much of a high powered offense to come in second in such i weak division even when the Jets have Brett Favre. The Bills are already guarantee a play-off spot. The Fish put a bus in front of their QB to block. And the Jets signed a living legend. So here is how it'll go down.

    Patriots 14-2

    Jets 10-6

    Bills 8-8

    Fish 8-8

  5. I agree favre wont make the jets good because they had more holes than just at QB. They did improve their line, offense and defense, so they should be a lot better than last year.

As for the division leader, I'm going out on a limb and saying the Bills. The pats look the best on paper but for some reason I got this feeling about the bills, so we'll see.

  6. Jets, Favre can make miracles happen.

  7. AFC East

Pats 15-1 Barring an injury to brady, their schedule is cakewalk and despite the fact that their secondary will take some time to get acclimated early in the season they will still beat the teams they play early.

Bills 10-6 - Bills are the second best team in the AFC East despite the fact that the Jets have Favre. Lets face it, this isn't 1996 anymore. Captain interception is good, but he is no Montana or Marino or Elway or Brady or Manning. The guy was good in his prime, but he is not one of the best in the league right now.

Jets 9-7 - Is generous. They have a fairly easy schedule, they have no defense and their offense will be a little better but no jaugernaught.

Dolphins - eh they might skip this season

  8. Pats will take it again. I don't think Jones is a good enough back to help them win. That's why Favre wanted to go to the Vikings. Peterson is a beast! He wants his cake and eat it too. He wants win, but doesn't want all the responsibility on him...Baby!

  9. Miami is still a joke,Buffalo still doesnt have a true starter at qb, and the Jets well they have Brett Favre. So the Patriots win the AFC east again!..for the uh 6 or 7th time? Sorry I lost count since they'll won it so many times.Miami will do much better than there uh 1-15 record,Buffalo could be a dark horse to finish 9-7 or better. And the Jets if they get last year's Favre should be big playoff contenders but there all in the same division as the Pats...Wow speak about unlucky.

  10. denver broncos

  11. 1.pats

    2.bills - wild card

    3. jets

    4. fish

  12. The AFC East teams are the Patriots, the Dolphins, the Bills, and the Jets.  I think the Patriots, even though I don't won't them to.  The only other team that stands a chance is the Jets, but they're not nearly good enough yet.

  13. The Pats but I look for good things to happen in Buffalo

  14. Miami pulls the shocker
