Who will win the French Open for Men?

I have to say Nadal, since he is the King of Clay. Djoko also has a chance, Federer is in a slump and recovering from Mono, so I think his chances are pretty slim.

Other contenders include David Ferrer, David Nalbandian, and Nikolay Davydenko.

I think Federer actually has a chance, but it will be tough for him this year. Next year his chance is better.  Djoko is not hte best on clay, so I don't think he's a real threat.

I have to put my money on my favorite player, Novak Djokovic, but you better believe that I'm gonna bet a little bit on Rafa too.  He is the overwhelming favorite to win the title in my mind, but I want Nole to win.

I just hope Djoko doesn't win it. A rather famous tennis player just today told me he thinks Djoko will get it. Ha! Not this year, I hope. Djoker isn't that great on clay, but they're speeding up the clay surface, which should help the hard courters.

It doesn't really matter if Federer is in a slump or not, Nadal on clay is unbeatable. I can't think of any player in history who is stronger on any surface than Nadal on clay. Not Borg on clay, Borg on grass, Pete on grass or Roger on grass. None of the above. Rafa is the king of clay.

Right now my favorite player is Novak Djokovic so im hoping he can win and being that he is the third seeded player he will probably face Roger again in the semi-finals. But odd's are on Rogers side. I hope he loses in the second round! but he will win this Grandslam before to long and this could be his year. Nadal is my third favorite behind Andy and Novak but i just don't see him winning again, a story for the history books if he does but unlikely.

I would have to say Rafael Nadal. He's the best in clay courts. Novak will have a chance, but a slim one compared to Nadal. As for Federer, sorry but I think he won't stand a chance.
