If the All Blacks can kick off their "chocking" habbit they have inherited since 1987, of course it'd be a AB world cup again.

Wallabies and the Springboks can't be counted off either.

Out of the nothern hemisphere teams - sadly, no body has shown much interest in winning or an ability. Anyway France in France is allways unpredictable. Very good cooks, can any time serve you up with a crazy dish. Remeber the FIFA WC 1998 !!!

England stands a chance too. Irish not bad. Wonder whether these guys would have the staying power.

Definitely the All Blacks - Richie McCaw and Dan Carter are arguably the best players in their position worldwide and they are back up by a squad of equally talented players.

Graham Henry's rotation plan may have copped a bit of flack but at the end of the day I think it might be what will make the ultimate difference.

New Zealnd are obvisouly a powerhouse of world rugby and are outright favourites, however many people answering this question have widely ignored Ireland who are considered by many experts to be the second best team in the world and are the team that New Zealand have publicly stated to be the biggest threat to them. If Ireland beat France in the group stage I have no doubt they will meet the all blacks in the final, however if France win that will mean a NZ Ireland quarter final which would be extremely difficult for Ireland to win.
