Wales thrashed Italy, but England played well (finally) and Ireland looked sharp and up for it as well..... France showed they do not have the bottle for big occasions and Scotland will be fighting with Italy for the wooden spoon.... comments please

  1. ireland have been looking poor this campaign

    england are now playing well

france and wales still have to play each other

and scotland and italy are out of the running.

So either the winner of wales vs france or england.

  2. You are all idiots if you think Ireland have a chance. It will be Wales who win the championship but no grandslam.

  3. wales for deffo and btw england aint got no chance lol they suck big time

  4. Sadly not Scotland :( ... but since it's not gonna be them... im now rooting for either Ireland or Wales :) x

  5. I think wales are still in with a good chance!

We just need to beat Ireland, and our points difference is alot higher than the other teams :)

    Cymru am byth (y)

    xxxxxxx

  6. Welshblo: "France hasn't got the bottle for big occasions" ?!...Who beat the All Blacks in Cardiff in the last world cup?...Not Wales but France. There are a lot of young players in the French team and their lack of experience was their downfall against England's pragmatism but they can still win the six nations....

  7. England.of course.

  8. Wales as long as they beat Ireland. If they do there will be a great incentive to beat the French in Cardiff. I believe the crunch match will be against Ireland.

  9. ireland or france

  10. Ireland

  11. England!

  12. "eh say ello to"....it's Cymru, not Cymri.....get it right.

Wales must be favourites as the only unbeaten team and the team with the best points difference by far.

The Irish game is the decider....should Wales win that, I can't see France beating them.

    Dowch 'laen hogia!

    gary...."England

behaved like champions???...we had nothing but pictures of Wilco and co in the newspapers for MONTHS.....ad nauseam....thank God it will never happen again (it wouldn't have happened then, had the All Blacks been in the final.....and you know it.)

  13. Well to be honest based on the forms that we have seen so far Wales have it to lose.

They have been the most consistent team so far, I don't think anyone has played a blinder yet but Wales are certainly the most consistent.

They have not been tested properly yet, but that's not their fault all you can do is play who is in front of you. Both Italy and England rolled over and capitulated in the second halves. And to be fair Scotland have been the weakest team so far.

France who you would have given the best chance to realistically on Friday based on performances did not really play on Saturday against England. Don't get me wrong England played their best so far but were also very lucky that France played their worst so far. We shall have to see if that galvanishes the French or whether they will fade in this tournament, you would expect a backlash though.

Ireland have got to be worth a look based on the improved game they played on Saturday. O'Gara showed superb class and Murphy was outstanding, if they play the same or better in the next games they will be very tough opponents.

So I still think it's Wales' to lose but it theory the biggest tests are to come. Ireland at Croke Park will probably be the toughest test and at least France are coming to Wales.

It should be a good run in, but based on the surprising results that we have seen so far I would not put any money on anything.

PS Gary are you asking for thumbs down.

  14. hopefully for me Ireland but I think Wales have a very good chance

  15. England should win, but probably will 'fluff' it, Ireland cant seem to find top  gear, France, are well able to take the cup, Wales, are doing well,  and lastly, Italy and Scotland will battle it out for the wooden spoon.

Reading the answers from the Welsh fans, after just a few wins, what would they be like if they actually ever won something? At least England ex world champions behaved like champions.

  16. I don't really recognise the welsh team that have been playing for the last three games...It is all new to me..

Strong forwards, excellent defence and extreme fitness and mental strength and exceptional leadership..who look like they could play rugby for three days straight.....this team - whoever they are seem capable of anything.

  17. England haven't got a hope in h**l unless they can string a full 80 mins together. If Wales win against Ireland out in Croke Park, and France play the way they did against England, Wales are going to win. C'mon Cymru fach, Y Gamp Lawn!!

  18. Well Wales are the inform team but they have to lay Ireland away and France at home to win the six nations.Obviously thats going to be an extremely hard task.If Ireland win their final two games against England and Wales and France beat wales it will all come down to points difference.England could also do it!

    Come on Ireland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Wales

  20. Wales will. England haven't got a hope in h**l!!

  21. England!

at least i am wanting that.

Wales is a good bet too.

We will all have to wait and see the games.

  22. i still think france will win the 6 nations ...

i expect england and france will win their last 2 games

i think wales will lose their final 2 games

    final order

    france 8pts

    england 8pts

    wales 6pts

    ireland 6pts

    italy 2pts

    scotland 0pts

  23. It is open now, but I still go with Wales, we have 2 weeks for the Irish match and hopefully we will do it!

  24. Wales thats all they can beat Ireland

Thank you England for beating France. But England have no hope of the crown and do they deserve it?

    C'mon Cymru fach

  25. It's now getting interesting!

  26. France or Ireland.

  27. Cymri all the way this year!!!
