my money is on alberto contador or vandevelde. andy shleck and denis menchov also have a good chance in my opinion.

Levi Leipheimer from America.  He will be very hungry with a vengeance for the chance to compete again in the TdF, after being excluded this year. He will win on his climbing and time-trialing abilities, and have a great support team around him.

Sorry, but Alberto, Christian, Andy, Denis and Carlos will battle for 2nd and 3rd.  Cadel will make it only into the top 10.  And George will work his heart out, again.

Contador is Evens favourite with the bookies a year out, that tells it's own story.

The main competition should come from CSC pair of Andy Shleck and Carlos Sastre but don't rule out the returning Ivan Basso, who riding for Liquigas with have the support of promising youngsters Nibali and Kreuziger.

I fear that Evans and Menchov missed their best chance for glory this year, but only time will tell.
