Nobody wants to see horses suffer, but the Grand National isn't the only horserace in the world and generally each year the fences are getting easier.  Nobody wants to see horses suffer and these horses love to jump and genuinely enjoy what they do.

If you want to actually go out and demonstrate against something  try visiting some of the local Point to Point meetings where you will see some extremely cruel treatment of horses and horrific falls, just because its not on tele doesn't mean its not happening.

Also visit the ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses) website and join their 'Make a Noise Campaign' fighting to stop the transportation of live horses abroad in appalling conditions for the catering and petfood industry, now that's worth demonstrating for.

With a view to who will tomorrow well its always a bit of a lottery as a lot of good horses are brought down by some not as good, usually in the first fences, but have little each way on Simon and Comply or Die, and for a couple of outsiders try Hedgehunter and Knowhere (currently 50-1).

At the end of the day let all the horses and jockeys come home safe and sound, and may the best horse win.

i've had the last 2 winners of the national, and the two which strongly stand out and i believe will win are:

simon 14-1

chelsea harbour 16-1

if i had to pick one for the whole thing, it would be SIMON.

none of them its cruel as its to hard on the horses.  I dont mind horse racing but the GN is too tough for the horses and some always die trying to complete the course.

nobody, its a cruel sport. Horses will die in this race....how is that fair? Fox hunting was banned so should this be
