It would depend on the players I had at their perspective positions but to select one just to do so, I would have to start Rose. I feel he is going to mature into a well rounded athlete and we could see him in London during the 2012 Olympics.

ill take Derek Rose, hes a one of a kind player. This is now a PGs league and the teams with the best PGs are become premier teams in the league(Jazz-Deron Williams,Hornets-Chris Paul,Suns-Steve Nash,Spurs-Tony Parker). Greg Oden will be a good big man but a PG like Rose will have the Bulls as a premier team in the NBA in a few years as well as make the players around him better. A great PG has a great impact on a team that anything else unless you have a dominant superstar like Kobe Bryant,Lebron James,Tracy McGrady,Kevin Garnett,or Tim Duncan.

Greg Oden for several reasons:

1. he can average a double double easy without his injuries.

2. You can't criticize Greg oden for his injuries because now derrick Rose is injured.

3. In my opinion Derrick Rose is overrated because i have seen him in summer league and i don't think he has the potential that everyone said he would.

4. Since The Chicago Bulls desperately needed a point guard, i think that's why they chose derrick rose since no other guards do not pass so that 1st pick was a mandatory pick.

5. Greg Oden averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds during his freshmen in college when his right hand was injured and yes Greg Oden's a righty. So he did everything with the palm of his left hands.

6. I also prefer Greg Oden because i know he can get a championship before Derrick Rose does.

Derrick Rose. Greg Oden's injury scares me off.

If I do look like I made a mistake in five years, then at least I have a pretty good point guard in place already.
