I am a registered Democrat, in my opinion the obvious choice is Barack Obama and Joe Biden. I'd like to hear what others think. I think McCain's choice for VP has totally discredit any talk of unpreparedness.

  1. Voting for McCain/Palin.

I'm a lifelong Democrat but I just cannot tolerate that sleazy headline grabber. And I would be mortified if Oprah had anything to do in MY government.

Obama supports ethanol development. Check out the statistics on that farce. Brazil uses pure ethanol and car engines there last about 10 years and cannot be rebuilt. Nice recycling strategy.

And Biden does not impress me at all. I live in NE PA and never knew he originated in this area. All of a sudden, it is the most important thing in his life. Could that possibly be because Hillary did so phenomenally well here? If you take all the politicians who serve in NE PA and put them in a cup, it would still be half full. Greedy, selfish louts led by the king of deception....Ed Rendell.

Go for it McCain. There are a lot more like me here.

  2. I am a registered Republican and I will vote for Obama. Even thou most republicans don't want to admit it, voting for McCain is voting for a third Bush term. I don't understand how people can be happy with where our nation is today economically as well as internationally and where this republican administration of George Bush has left us. The ironic thing is that Bush now in his last year is doing all of the things that he should have done in his first term and which Obama has been suggesting for the last year. Even thou the war in Iraq is much better now, it still does not change the fact that it will go down in history as a monumental mistake. Obama has been right about everything except the surge not working, but now that is has it is time to bring the troops home. Obama suggested to start a faced withdraw and Bush is going to do that now. Obama suggested talking to Iran and Bush is doing that now. Obama suggested the center of the fight against terrorism to be Afghanistan, and Bush sees that now. Obama suggested that Pakistan was not a true allied of the US on the fight against terrorism, and Bush has seen that now and have started to bomb inside Pakistan with out the authorization of Pakistan, and Musharaf is out of power because he is a corrupt and petty dictator who had a big hand on creating and protecting the Taliban.

Bush had an opportunity to go down in history as one of the greatest leaders of this nation ever, but his constant string of bad decisions damage those changes beyond any repair. And even thou he has changed in the last year, McCain chooses to stubbornly cling to all of the bad choices of the first 6 years and promises more of the same.

  3. Most likely McCain/ Pallin, they have more experience and have a better plan that Obama/ Biden does to fix our problems, in my opinion. And although I was leanin toward Obama because of his VP choice he is ultimately going to be the one to make the decisions and I do not think he will make the right decisions.

  4. McCain/Pallin

    United We Stand

  5. I supported Hillary (and Obama) for what they stood for and their political platform. NOT the s*x of the candidate.

McCain can have a woman VP on his ticket, but that will not change the fact that his policies are horrible for America in this desperate time of need. We cannot ignore that we need better health coverage, tax-cuts that don't overlook the majority, and for America to stop wasting tax-dollars on wars and special interests that benifit oil companies, executives, and lobbyists.

In short, NO I would NOT vote for McCain/Palin. My vote stands for change, one that Obama/Biden hope to bring to to White House.

  6. obama/biden all the way. And you absolutly right. thats a hypocritical republican right there.

  7. McCain/ Palin because they are much more conservative than Obama / Biden.

  8. McCAin and palin!! 2008

  9. Obama/Biden all the way

  10. McCain/ Pallin

i'm a conservative.  I like their energy policies.  I like McCain's foreign policy. I'm VERY excited about this ticket!

  11. McCain/Palin

  12. Obama/Biden of course.

Change/Experience always trumps Bush-wannabee/corrupt MILF anytime.

  13. mccain because obama makes me want to puke. pompus ***

  14. I will vote for the lesser of the two evils, McCain. I get sick, just thinking of what Obama stands for. He scares me to a panic. McCain isn't even a real republican. I wanted to vote for Huckaby, because he was so honest. But, of course, that never won an election, so I knew he was out. I am a republican obviously, but would have considered voting for Clinton, because she was the only candidate to address issues that were on my mind, with real solutions.

  15. I think all the candidates are extremely liberal in their views and NONE of them should be elected. Look to Bobb Barr or another person who loves the constitution more than "dog & pony shows".

  16. McCain and Pallin..most experienced and balanced

  17. Obama/Biden without question. This is the only intelligent choice. I am not interested in living in a theocracy, thank you.

  18. I will vote for Obama and Biden. The reason is because he has much better leadership abilities and much better ideas for getting us back on the right track.

  19. Well is you wish to be a sexist, go for it.

  20. McCain/Palin. I am driven by the issues rather than by emotion. Obama can't deliver on even one tenth of his promises. Anyone with knowledge of history, politics and current events will vote for McCain/Palin. No political ticket is perfect, but one is always better than the other (and that makes all the difference in the world). America can't afford Barack Obama and Joseph Biden.

  21. All I have to say about McCain is WTF!!!! Its official he's lost it.!!!

  22. neither, but i hope obama gets in, i dont think its wise to have people like bush running down such a nice country as america

  23. I used to be Democrat...Obama changed my mind on that and I consider myself an Independent.  I was thinking I would vote Obama, against my better judgement, but was angry at the way the DNC and Obama treated Hillary and very uncomfortable with Obamas racist leanings... but now.. McCain has   had the guts to appoint a woman.. so that is where I am going.

I don't care what Bush did..McCain is not Bush... and the fact that he is not afraid of a strong woman like Obama is made up my mind.

Obama could have had it all.. could have made double history.. he and Hillary.. but he is such an egomaniac .. he was afraid of a strong and smart woman, smarter than he.... so for me.. he can forget ever getting my vote.. and many, many like me.

    Go McCain/Palin!!!!!!

  24. Today my mind was made for me the Obama/Biden ticket is my choice.

The choice of Palin demonstrates that McCain is going for the 'demographic votes' not the best qualified person.  Then he didn't even select the best candidate.   She's a woman, she's pro life, she's a card carrying NRA member, evangelical, and pro-oil - with no international or national political experience.  She is the total  opposite of a woman I would vote for on a presidential slate.   She was selected for the media, looks and money from the lobbyists.

This was a very disappointing choice by someone I was thinking about supporting......

    so sad

  25. Voted for Hillary voting for McCain!

NOBAMA!  He is way too RADICAL!  FAR FAR LEFT!  TOO FAR LEFT!   He supported Odinga for crying out loud!   Odingas tribe was resposible for hundreds of murders in Kenya!  CHRISTIANS- MURDERED! Obama supported him and campaigned for him and endorsed him! YUCK! EVIL!

  26. Wow, it's starting to look like we're doomed to failure either way.
