  1. GSP

  2. It's a win win - no belt on the line, so these guys don't have to defend their titles for another 6 months.

They both get a good payday from UFC and their sponsors.

I think it's lame that these guys didn't have to really clean out their divisions before they do this "superfight".

GSP has definitely improved and he's super athletic, but BJ has been training like mad for months.  Look at his defense against Sherk who's bigger, stronger, and more athletic.  BJ was rock solid.  I see this going to the ground and being BJ by submission - but it won't be an easy fight.

  3. It comes down to one deciding factor.

If Penn can keep his cardio up, he will win the fight.  Technically, he outmatches GSP.

  4. as much as i love BJ, i think he was a little too quick to accept that fight.  well...technically he challenged GSP, didn't he?  anyway, it's going to be a tough fight no matter how you look at it!  and i thin k GSP wins...he's a baaaaaaaaaaaaaad man :)

  5. man alive. pen took NO, NO, NO damage in the first fight, and beat the HOLY LIVING c**p out of GSP every time he tried to stand with him. If a OLYMPIC ALTERNATE, Randy Couture couldn't hold Penn down with the size difference how do people expect a much smaller, lesser wrestler that couldn't even make the Olympic team keep BJ Penn down. GSP won a controversial split decision in the last fight when Penn did not even train hard. I do not know who will win, but I am probably going to put my money on Penn

  6. Georges St.Pierre is so much faster, his combinations are so good and his wrestling is the best in his division. Don't get me wrong Bj Penn is amazing but he won't be able to match up with gsp at 170. Penn will put up a good fight forsure but gsp has the better skills. Penn should just stay at 155. He's untouchable in that division.

  7. if the bj that beat sherk and stevenson shows up, id say bj. penn is a force when he has his cardio in check.

  8. BJ took GSP to the limit in their first fight. Many believe that BJ even won that fight. I am inclined to agree but I will say that GSP has done nothing but improve since their last bout. BJ, with relation to his ground game and his boxing seems to be pretty much where he has been for the past few years. His only noticeable change has been in his conditioning. He went 3 rounds with Sean Sherk and didn't even seem to break a sweat. That being said I believe that GSP will squeek out another decision win with superior wrestling, strength and cardio.

  9. It depends. GSP does ALOT of steroids. If he continues to go undetected, GSP should kill BJ.
