Who wins Boston vs Team USA 2008?

There was a question here that asked who would win Boston vs Spain ?.

People were saying Boston would kill Spain Does that mean Boston can beat team USA?

The Celtics wouldn't win against due to the fact that all of the Celtics have NBA habits not FIBA habits. If they did, it would be an interesting match because although Boston has the Big 3, I think Spain may have more depth than Boston (assuming we're talking about the 07-08 roster, not the current one). Still Spain was finished close to Team USA, which is filled with all-stars. So the final verdict is that Spain beats Boston with their bench and Team USA would also do the same with both starters and bench.

Perk - Howard: no contest, obviously Howard

KG - Carmelo: KG wins

LBJ - Pierce: both can play at the same level

Allen - Kobe: Kobe is better all round

Kidd - Rondo: Kidd's got the upper hand since both would play like pure point guards and Kidd has more experience than Rondo

Posey - Wade: pretty obvious who wins this one

You also have Team USA playing more fast break basketball while the Celtics plays with half court and you saw what happened in Atlanta, didn't you?

Just remember that everybody didn't give the Celtics a chance in the playoffs either.......some people still don't get it, a team, even with LESS TALENT, that plays like a team can beat anybody else consistantly. Look at the teams that have been winning the titles lately folks, Boston, Detriot, Spurs, Red Sox, White Sox, the Giants!!!! Duh, is this too hard for you all???

yea it's true that boston would kill spanish bc nba players(boston players) vs spain players, its true that spain have no luck, but team USA vs boston it's like if i would say nba players(boston players) vs many from the best players of the nba(team usa players). and it's sure that it's the team usa who will win easily
