This would be a great great fight if Gatti was in his prime an absolute war from two fighters who really know how to please the fans, Katsidis is only now starting to get some attention from the American fight fans but i have been looking out for his fights for a couple of years now ever since he had a great fight with a British fighter called Graham Earl which they were both knocking each other over in a barn burner. Im not sure if Katsidis has reached his prime yet but if we match him now against a prime Gatti then i think we would still be looking at a classic and another Ring magazine fight of the year award, i see both fighters visiting the canvas on numerous occasions and i see it going on to be a late stoppage victory for Gatti in about the 10th after both fighters are nearly out on their feet after one of the biggest wars ever witnessed in a boxing ring. Great question.

Great question. I'd say Katsidis.

BTW- Casamoyer should have been DQ'd in that fight. When he was knocked out of the ring people helped him get up. When you are knocked out of the ring you have 20 seconds to get back in but no one is allowed to help you up.

Shame on Kats though for getting wild in the 11th.

I'd say Katsidis because when he fought Joel Casamayor he didn't back down from going toe to toe with a champion in Casamayor. Katsidis even knocked Joel down and i thought it would've been enough because Joel was knocked right out of the ring and at his age he got up and won the fight via KO.

Gatti couldn't beat Gomez in his final fight and i personally think he is overrated sure his trilogy vs Micky Ward was great but Ward isn't really a great boxer he is just an ordinary full of heart warrior.
