Talor for sure!! Mayweathe is faster than grease lightin' but Taylor is a smart fighter and could wear Mayweather down then knock his head clear to the moon!

That's a pretty interesting what-if. I pick Mayweather--agreeing with the above poster who pointed to his defensive superiority. The fact that Taylor lost that Chavez fight the way he did in the last seconds makes me question his ring smarts and defensive skills. But then, he was beating JC Superstar easily up to that point, which proves that he was without question a great fighter.

The fight I'd be even more curious to see would be Mayweather versus Pernell Whittiker. Sweat Pea was probably even better defensively than Mayweather.

Very equal in many ways in my opinion.  Both have great handspeed and boxing ability.  I believe that Mayweather Jr is a little more defensive minded than Meldrick.  This would be a fast action bout with many momentum swings throughout the fight.  I believe that Mayweather would find a way to win the last few rounds of a very even fight and capture a narrow decision victory.

Power wise they are about equal, maybe Floyd has a slight edge........................

Although Floyd is a prototype of Meldrick, I would give Floyd a little edge in everything, definately a good fight, I would give Floyd the decision.
