  1. brock , unless he goes in their and dose stupid **** like he did with mir like leaving his one leg in mirs armpit , he is very strong, and his wrestling is better then herrings, however we have no idea how his  submissions are, that could be a big "if", it seems he can punch, but that has yet to be proved either, he however looks like he is gona win it

  2. this is throwing a bum a bone,,,, keeping BumLesner around so the WWE losers buy the PPVs,,, UFCs HW div. is a joke,,,,they got no real beasts anymore,,,so keeping Lesner around is just hope and profit,,,     i think Brock takes this one

  3. Heath Herring has been criticized before about his inability to stop the take down, and Brock Lesnar's wrestling is far superior that anyone's in the UFC Heavyweight division.  I see this fight unfolding exactly like the Lesnar Mir fight, except no knee bar.  Lesnar wins in the first.

  4. herrring all the way herring gonna pressure him from the start and not let him do any thing then brock is going to get tired and is gonna get tko'd

  5. Lesnar will win the fight because Heath Herring will stand and fight him.

I don't know anything about this but I found this.

  7. This fight could really go either way, but I personally give it to Lesnar.

Herring was taken down by Cheick Kongo (who has very minimal wrestling/ground game) and was given lots of problems by Jake O'Brien (who isn't even in Lesnars league when it comes to wrestling) - so realistically I think we will see Herring on his back in this fight.

The question remains, has Brock learnt his lesson from Mir and worked hard on his sub defense - Herring is no slouch off his back.

If I was a betting man, I would go with Lesnar.

  8. Who

  9. The Texas Crazy Horse deffinitely

  10. brock lesner

  11. In my opinion, Lesnar.

A lot of people are quick to dismiss Brock here, mostly because of his WWE backround, but what many are overlooking is that he is a seasoned and accomplished amateur wrestler and one of the finest athletes that MMA heavyweight division has and I really think that he has the tools necessary to win this match.

Herring is an experienced MMA veteran and as far as this aspect is concerned there is clearly no comparison between the two. But as you know, styles make fights, and stylistically I think that this is just a terrible match up for him. I've seen many of Heath's fights and to be honest I think that his biggest problem is that he's simply too wild, he doesn't think or fight strategically and he loses his composure very often. This is exactly what will lead him to a defeat in this match, in my opinion. Obvious plan against Brock would be to keep the fight standing. But this is something that Heath won't be able to do. Watch his fight against Jake O' Brien and see how easily he gets taken and held down in that match. And now, if you replace O' Brien with Lesnar who is a much bigger, stronger, faster, a lot more explosive athlete and a far better wrestler also, I think that it should be clear that he won't have any problems in taking Heath down in this match. Herring is just not strong enough and his sprawl is nowhere near good enough to defend this. And once the match goes to the floor he will be in huge problems. Brock will put him under real pressure with his g 'n p, but unlike Frank Mir in his first UFC match, Heath won't be able to handle this. Mir is a jiu jitsu and ground fighting expert (far better the Herring in this aspect). He defended against Lesnar on the floor the best he could and, most importantly, remained calm and composed throughout the onslaught and when the chance presented it self, he took it. And Herring, on the other hand, will have another thing coming. Once he goes down and gets in trouble, he'll start getting nervous and making mistakes and Brock will unload with the vicious g 'n p. Herring will not be able to defend him self successfully against this for too long at all, in my opinion. Brock will maintain control of the match and beat him convincingly.

I believe that TKO for Lesnar is the most likely outcome here.
