Who wins this trade, and do you think it is pretty even?

Team A gets J. Hamilton

Team B gets C. Young (ARI OF) and N. Swisher

Also 1 side question. Do you think that S. Marcum would be a much better pitcher for me now and for the rest of the season to give up Z. Grienke and another player yet to be determined, or should I stand pat since Grienke is pretty good and could play better than he has lately. Also, is Marcum better than J. Shields?

Poor trade Hamilton is a stud and team B should be getting more than two average batters back for him.

Shields is better than Marcum, will get more wins because he plays on a way better team.(seems weird calling Tampa way better than someone).

As for Greinke that one I would do depending on who the other player is.

Team A wins this trade.  Hamilton is an up and coming star.  He is a 5 tool player and might have the most points at the end of the year.  

keep Grienke becuase he pitches in the 2nd worst divison in baseball and Marcum has to throw againts the best divsion in baseball and has some of the best hitters in the league in that divison.  But i think grienke is better than shields and marcum

If you have the spots available, team B does pretty well.  I think Swisher is also eligible at 1B.

Marcum seems to have more consistency and staying power than Greinke.  But, Shields looks better than both Greinke and Marcum.

Team A wins the deal with Hamilton.  He's been consistently lights-out all year long, and he's playing in hitter-friendly Arlington, so his numbers will be outstanding

As for the side question, I'd stick with Marcum because he's on a better team with a better lineup, so Greinke would be good to give up.  Shields is better than Marcum, but if you can get him for a minimal price, go for it.

marcum wont do as good the rest of the season ut, the rest of the pitchers u said are not that good either so i would take marcum

but for the batters i hope u are recieving j.hamilton because his stats are lagit this guy isnt some nobaody who came out of no where he was the 1st overall pick 1999 but c. young strikes out ALOT and n. swisher is decent player but doesnt give you the power u want at 1b
