  1. He was defeated by a 51% to 49% vote.  That's a narrow margin.

    An executive (government, president ...) isn't allowed to change the constitution. Chavez is a good politician but has to learn this.

  5. The vote was very close and the outcome is uncertain at this time. No announcement has been made.

  7. According to the exit polls, it was Chavez.  But the exit polls were wrong when he was elected before so we'll have to wait for the count.
