Question:

Who won the claim with PayPal? (Chargeback)?

I bought a laptop on ebay that I never received. I filed a chargeback with my credit card company since PayPal was only going to cover $200 (I paid $1100). I go into my PayPal account today and see that the case is closed and reason being "Insufficient evidence to dispute the chargeback." So who won the case? Me or the seller?

  1. Reading it as you stated above, in my opinion would mean they (PayPal) are going to allow the chargeback due to the seller not providing evidence (to PayPal) that would prove delivery to you.

Contact Paypal directly for a clarification of their answer to this question.

Once you get the clarification from them, should it not be to your liking, call your credit card company again and update them with the new info, so they may pursue further legal actions pertaining to the fraudulent transaction.
