As the others have said, it was Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) by a country mile, ahead of Valentino Rossi (Camel Yamaha), who was riding with a fractured wrist, with Marco Melandri (Gresini Honda), also still banged up from the big crash in Catalunya, in third.

Pedrosa, unfortunately, beat everyone hands down but the race for 2nd between Rossi and Melandri was best!
