  1. I worked for a chiropractor and I checked in patients and got them set up in tractions (some offices don't have these) then for new patients I had to do very simple resistant test with them (stretching and asking if they feel pain while doing so) I developed x-rays and called patients who we hadn't seen in awhile. It was a fairly simple job. The chiropractor had a woman to do all the back office work, like contact insurance companies and what not. So I never had to do any of that. It was good money, but it kind of got boring after awhile.

  2. Most Chiropractors do not perform lab work, blood drawing etc. You won't have to prepare surgical trays or mess with pukey babies, stiches, gyn exams, proctos or running sores. Ppeople are generally vertically sick rather than crash and burn sick. Patients are generally more fun. You may or may not do both front and back office procedures. Wages on average are probably less unless you do other things such as assist with marketing, management etc. Bonuses are way better in a Chiropractic office that is busy.

  3. I am a chiropractor. I have both front office & back office assistants. My front office people do insurance, answer phones & schedule appts.

My back office assistant takes patients into rooms, asks them how they feel, helps write a bit in the charts, applies therapy (electric stim etc) and does a little bit of massage.
