Question:

Who would I talk to about this?

My fiance and I need professional financial advice. He is currently an OTR truck driver because he has to be in order to afford his $1,000/month child support. He wants to eventually get a local job when we have our own child. We both want me to be at home with it. The only problem is that he doesn't have a college degree that would qualify him for a "good" job. Basically, we need someone to help us figure out how to get him off the road and still make decent money. It's a lot more complicated than that... but does anyone know where we would go for that kind of advice? A financial planner, maybe? How much does that cost?

  1. You need career counselor. Better yet. Find a book called "What color is your parachute?" Or visit the Dave Ramsey's website for advice.
