The Constitution would be consulted.  My opinion is that the military would take over and hold elections or just run things

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court; but he (or she if there ever is one) has a limited time to appoint a President and Vice President.

The 50 State Governors are also obligated to appoint two Senators from their State within days, and to organise House elections within a fixed period of time.
