  1. most likely cam smith will be. thurston would be a close second he has proved at club level he is a leader as a young/future captain.

  2. If Danny Buderus still played rep I would pick him (my Pop taught Danny Buderus in Taree) but yes I would agree with you all the way, 100% Jonathan Thurstan or Cameron Smith, both great players, but I would recommend Jonathan Thurstan

  3. I would make them be Co-Captains for both AUS and QLD when Lockyer retires but the selectors wont do that. If you had to ick it wold be Cam Smith as he is a premiership winning captain and was captain last year when Lockyer was injured.

  4. smith... much better than thurston i reckon

  5. Brett Finch

  6. Cameron Smith.  He already leads Melbourne and won a premiership.  Thurston's good, but I just favour Smith a tad more.

Buderus won't be round for much longer and Gasnier's over rated.

    Cameron Smith's the man.

  7. Willie Mason

  8. cameron smith i would say thurston mmm yeah but i think smith is a better leader there was also talk off gasnier but i dont think that will happen i would not mind seeing gaz as captain only because he is from my team the dragons but yeah definately smith

  9. Given that Smith was test captain last year when Lockyer was out and the fact Buderus is off overseas i think Smith is the obvious choice. I reckon in future Greg Bird may be NSW and Australia captain material.

  10. Smith, he is a leader.. whereas Thurston isnt.. he is a good player but not a leader...
