I love this question. But I guess that it is not so easy to answer as it appears. Today the pope is certainly influencing Italy a lot (even if he resides in the Vatican). No doubt some rich and known people influence Italy, like Silvio Berlusconi. But there are a number of unknown people who are neither rich nor known, who act behind the scenes and who have undoubtful some great influence on the country and beyond.

These people do not appear on the list of Forbes.
