It's the bottom of the 9th with the score tied with two outs and your hefty 1st basmen doubled to center. You look to your bench for a pinch runner.

Your bench consists of the following players all 100% healthy.

Who do you go with?

Carlos Gomez

Chone Figgins

Jose Reyes

Carl Crawford

Joey Gathright

Juan Pierre

Jacoby Ellsbury

Ichiro Suzuki

A single will more than likely win it for you but be aware that the opposing outfield is known gunning players out at the plate

  1. i would pick jose reyes cause he is REALLY fast and has enough experience

  2. Carlos Gomez

  3. Carl Crawford. I want speed and a guy that really knows how to run the bases. I think he'd be my best bet.

  4. I would have to say Ian Kinsler (sorry hes not on there) but he is known for stealing 3rd sometimes and is 25/26 stealing bases

Out of your list I would choose Jacoby Ellsbury because he probly has the freshest legs

  5. Jose Reyes. However if I had Reyes on my team and he was healthy I would have to have quite a powerhouse team to keep him on the bench in the first place.

  6. I'd take Ichiro

  7. suzuki.

he is fast, and he is a smart base runner.

  8. Juan Pierre

  9. Carlos Gomez,he can steal a base in a *flash*

  10. id take jose reyes

  11. none of the above, i would go with corey hart, smartest baserunner out there

  12. i think Gomez is the fastest of that group, but because of his experience and equally amazing speed, i take Ichiro

  13. I'd like to have Carlos Gomez probably or Ichiro.

  14. Reyes

  15. suzuki or reyes they are quick and experienced

  16. From the list above I would pick Jose Reyes, just based on his pure speed.  The others are good, but I think Reyes is just a little better than anyone else on the list.

  17. I Would Pick Fred Lewis

if you ever saw him, you would know

    he is FRERAKISHLY fast

  18. Jose Reyes would have to be my pick off your list because he is freakishly fast but where is Fred Lewis on the list?

  19. I would probably go with Carlos Gomez.  When Gomez was still a Met Jose Reyes himself said that he wasn't as fast as the outfielder.  He doesn't get on the basepaths as often, though, so his steals numbers don't look as good.

Runners up (get it?) are Joey Gathright, who some consider the fastest pure speed guy in baseball, and Michael Bourn, who is pretty fast himself.
