to be honest Anelka has been great in the pre season games and has scored 4 against Ac Milan so i expect he no doubt will be selected to play up top with Dider Drogba though Robinho would be a nice addition no doubt but i expect if things stay as they are Anelka will be the man, we may even see the rise of Shevchenko who knows.

it isnt adebayor because adebayor is kind of similar to drogba in terms of his stature and aerial/ physical threat. i would say drogba needs someone to hold up play and drop off so that he can get into better centre forward postions to score goals. if he has someone who can hold up the play and link up the play abit deeper he wont have to come short and pick up the loose ball.

Eto from Barcelona would be the perfect fit and match for Drogba.The 2 african stars one for ivory coast the other for cameroon have played against each other very often and have a similar attacking style about them.Both have size and speed to beat any defenders.Having Eto would create more space for Drogba to get through with man to man coverage instead of the usually double or triple team he so often recieves in a match.But of course for that to happen Chelsa goin to have to throw down some major money.
