Who would i talk to too get a job as a cruise ship designer?

I want to get a job as a cruise ship designer. I dont know who to talk to to get a request for that job. does anyone know who?

All the cruise ship lines have web sites online.  Send your resume to their corporate offices in care of Human Resources.

Find out who builds the ships used by various cruise lines. Then go to the web and get the contact information for their Human Resources depts and send in your resume. If you don't have one, just send an email telling them of your desire and ask them if they can recommend a position for you.

First of all are you taking about designing the steel ship itself or the interior of the ship.  

If you are talking about the ship itself, then you need to study marine or naval architecture.  Next, you should understand that ALL cruise ships built in the last fifty years have been built outside the United States.  So there is not much of a job opportunity for cruise ship designers in the USA.

If you want to design the interior of a cruise ship, you would take courses similar to that of a interior hotel designer.  That is after all what a cruise ship basically is, a floating hotel.

best person to talk to - a cruise ship designer. unless you're sure you will get lucky and win some contests with your designs and people notice you and think you're awesome. but since this is real life and not hollywood, i'd say, talk to a cruise ship designer. you will probably want to start with more general stuff and then get more specific once you've established yourself. not such a big market for that kind of thing.
