Who would rather build a team around - Crosby or Malkin?

Who is the better leader? Why?

I don't have to choose. Both of them are already on my favorite team.

I think I'd somehow genetically combine them if I had to choose........Croslkin. I'd have the best of both worlds. He'd have Malkin's perfect scoring ability and Malkin's toughness, but he'd have Crosby leadership abililty and Crosby's passing ability.

I am going to say neither......GO AHEAD and thumbs down me....it is my freaking opinion.  

If I had to pick the guy that I would build a team around, it would be Iginla.  I am not even a Calgary fan, but he, in my opinion, is one of the best all around players in the league.  Given the right guys to play with, he could carry any team on his back, and be the best Captain in the League.  

If I had to pick from your choices, I would say Crosby...he's already Captain, and the Pens seem to be fine with that....but I really don't have a preference.

Although Malkin stood up and led the team during Crosby's injury last season, I would have to go with Crosby.  For his consistency if for no other reason...  Crosby IS solid enough to build a team around, as Ray Shero is proving....

Gun to my head I would have to pick Crosby from those two as he is the more natural leader on the ice.

Frankly, I wouldn't build a team around either of them though.  My heart and my pocketbook would land directly in Detroit around Zetterberg and Datsyuk, the best foward combination in the NHL bar none. I would rather have two fowards who bring amazing offensive ability and world-class defensive skill to the ice than the Pittsburgh gun show.

Luckily, the Penguins don't have to decide. They have them both :-)

But if I absolutely *had* to choose one, it would Crosby. I don't know why. Just a gut instinct.

i would pick michael jordan over any of those two...he is the best leader in any sports

I personally think Malkin is the better player - The only problem is, he doesn't know English.  So you gotta go with Crosby on this one.

Well, I would rather build a team around Malkin ( If I could still have Malkin and Crosby ) because Crosby can play with ANYONE and make them look like a superstar. Crosby is definitely the better leader too. Without Crosby, Malkin would be nowhere near where he is now.

I would go with Sid, hes an all around player, while Malkin is more of just an offensive play-maker. Sid has those HOLY c**p HOW DID HE DO THAT passes, and just a great overall feel for the game Sorry Evgeni, but luckily that choice is NOT in the pens picture

crosby because malkin dont know english and is pretty retarded, although he has alot of raw talent. Crosby is aware and understands the game better, and could also communicate to his teammates much easier
