Who would say that 'The Simpsons' is the greatest ever television program?

Many people ignore the fact that the only reason many of their favorite shows are funny is because The Simpson's paved the way. What's funny on today's shows are their ability to write openly and freely and no show did that before The Simpson's.

That goes for animated comedy or non-animated comedy.

no i woudlnt its funny but not but it being running for heck of alot of time and so its worth watching i think south park and family guy are the best but thats my opinoin but none the less simpsons is a good show

Great show its declined over the years though but u think its getting back to were it used to be. Its a lot better then family guy though.

best cartoon sitcom? yes.

better than flintstones, jetsons, family guy, southpark, and any other similar shows.

Homer alone has endless quotables. Then theres moe sizlack, troy mcclure, nelson, ralph wiggum.. family guy is lame because all they do is parodies of other stuff, no real story line its a lot easier to write.

simpsons is CLASSIC, my favorite cartoon sitcom of all time.
