I was wondering, if there were openweight matches in the UFC, who would win. BJ Penn at 155 or George St. Pierre at 170. I know the two have already fought at 170 with GSP winning, but would BJ Penn at 155 be able to compete with GSP at 170, or would Penn need to go back up to 170 to fight and compete with GSP?

  1. george would defiinately kick bj's  *** again

  2. GSP regardless of weight. Good takedown defense or not, GSP would put BJ on his back. A brown belt from Renzo Gracie is enough for him to stay out of submissions.

  3. I don't know because as you can see BJ has gotten much better.  Serk couldn't take him down and he's a top wrestler.  And by the way some consider the first fight a wash. It was a split dicision and GSP did win by a boring *** lay a pray, basicly unable to do anything in BJ's rubber guard. I'd take Penn because he on a war path latly and actually fighting up to his legacy.

  4. Listen, GSP,  has faced pretty much every notable welterweight out there including BJ. notice with Matt Hughes and Serra that GSP was defeated the first time. But he came back to defeat Hughes twice, once on 30 day's notice. Then dominated Serra to reclaim his title.  B.J. got shown up by Hughes, so i know that GSP would dominate BJ at any weight class.  Sizewise, BJ as a welterweight was a 155 fighter with 15 extra pounds of excess muscle. GSP is 170 lbs. of pure lean muscle, and dominates on the ground and standing up.  To compare BJ with a future hall of famer and welterweight champion like GSP is pointless.

  5. im a fan of both first off but theres no way gsp could get down to 155 and retain his strength so bj would have to move back up and now that his cardio seems to be top notch i dont think theres a fighter in either the 155 or 170 weight class that can compete with him . the true test would be for him to add the weight in muscle and stay fit.

  6. If GSP somehow could cut to 155, that's Penn's territory. Sub in 2.

Unfortunately, since I don't think that's physically possible, if BJ went up to 170 for the match up to be feasible, I think GSP would take him via TKO in the second or third round.

  7. About me: The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn s*****m... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.
